Default 5.3 to th350

I know this has probably been beaten to death but i've read for hours on it and there's a ton of conflicting info and my head is spinning. So i'm sorry but i have to post this
5.3 to a th350 with a standard th350 converter.
From what i've read there are two options keeping the stock converter:
1.Get a 6.0 flat flex plate and a spacer. Run the spacer between the crank and flex plate.
2. Keep the 5.3 dished plate and run the spacer after the flex plate.
Am i getting those right? Can someone link me to the spacer(s) please.
I would greatly prefer the second option since it would be a lot cheaper than buying a new fkex plate.
Also i know i will have to redrill the plate for the tc bolts. I would assume that's pretty straight forward.
Thanks in advance.
