Default 1-2 accumulator piston?? Help.. getting tuned mon.

1-2 Shift shudder at WOT; delayed or abnormal 1-2 shift; There's a problem ONLY on the 1-2 shift: 1-2 accumulator piston cracked or stuck cocked in the bore. Check the yellow spring inside the accum housing for breakage. Also, if the accumulator housing walls are scored, the housing must be replaced. Easy fix in the pan. Will this fix my issue??

I am having this problem, if there is anyone out there that has had this problem what exactly did u do to fix this? Getting car tuned monday and would like to get fixed before then.

I would suggest replacing the stock piston with a Sonnax Pinless accumulat piston, part #77998-03K. Any cooperative local trans shop can order Sonnax part for next day delivery. Ask them to order a new outer spring too.

If you want to go mail order, here are examples:

This is not a guaranteed fix for your problem, but is a quick, easy and cheap.

Thank you for replying so fast, im going to do what u said.. Thanks agian.

Another thing... is something i can just do in my driveway really easy. I think i just have to drop the pan and its right there on the back pass. side.. does this sound correct?

Yes, it is the "cup" with three bolts holding it in.
Good time to replace the filter and part of the fluid if not done recently.
