I assume you are referring the "guard" that is help by a VB bolt under the dipstick tube. No, that does not need to change because your dipstick and tube have not changed.

my car is stock ride height & i added a summit aluminum pan with finns. it hangs down about a half inch lower than my jethot / hooker headers. i havent had a problem scraping the pan or anything. once or twice i've hit my safety loop / cross member on a speed bump. hope that helps!

"With a soft rubber gasket" These are used with the aluminum pans so they would not crack when using the harder Duraprene type gasket. Torque them to 75 inch pounds max with these, otherwise you might have them squeeze out which would mean that the bolt is too tight.
