Stalled 4L60e
I'd make a gear change probably to 3.90s, get your tune done and if the converter isn't right call yank and have it re-stalled to 4000/4200. That car should be a full second quicker and 60' in 1.5s/1.6s. JMO!
I took it by vengeance today and the strange bucking I was talking about was because the car was running lean so he fixed that. Then he said my computer wasn't allowing the car to shift so he fixed that to. So now maybe we can get some good passes down before I put the bottle on it.

Pull the inspection cover under the bell housing and post a pic of what converter is inside. We don't even know if it is a yank or not. Stupid talking about converter swaps and we don't even know what he has.
This^^^ I'd like to see if in fact it is a yank before recommend in anything. Besides that op do you have any dyno numbers before and after you put the fast on? Just curious I'm doing the same thing to my car and was wondering mine isn't an ls1 anymore tho but just curious
The best I can possibly get out of my Yank SS3600 after a few years playing with it is a 1.67 and most are 1.70-1.72. Good converter but its pretty tight. I love it on the street.
Seems they vary a lot.

Not sure if you were asking me but I flash my converter from between 1000-1800 depending on my reaction times. I race at several tracks in Pa, NJ and Md so things change from track to track! My best 60' was with a 10 bolt with 4.10s, the 12 bolt w/3.73s slowed et/mph so I'll be changing them!!
