converter and shift kit question

converter and shift kit question I'm thinking about going with the TCI SSF 3500, and was wondering if the TransGo shift kit is a must, or if i don't need it?? i'm definitely gonna get the trans cooler, and also gonna get either 3.73's or 4.10's put in as well, but was just wondering if its a must to get the shift kit as well ??

the shift kit is not a must at all. could be done some other time, but your all good for now. if you have 3.23's you will be fine with that verter, but if the verter is to loose for you then go upto a 3.73 and that should take away some of the "looseness" feel to it. 4.10's is a bit to high.

I have 273s, yes its loose but not that bad. I dont have a shift kit b/c my friend does and it hits so damn hard it scratches gears just driving around town, something I think would get old just driivin to work
