Default Transbrakes for 4L80E

I'm putting together a stroker LS2 on an uprated 4L80E. It's going into a Vauxhall Monaro (UK variant of the Pontiac GTO). I plan to use it on the road and the strip with a little NOS on fine weekends.

Question I have is what's the best transbrake for the job? Bear in mind that I do want to spend most of the time in "D"rive and it'll be on an OEM controller. My builder has put together a TCI unit in the past. I heard that Jake's are pretty good too.

Cheers
Arnie

Cant go wrong with Jake's. You can also consider RPM's, top notch quality as well.

I like TCI's unit, and I do not have an experience with Jakes. Here is TCI's:

Definitely stay away from TCI 4L80E trans brakes. Nothing but trouble. They have not perfected yet know lots of people with problems. As far as their 700R4, TH400, TH350, 2 speed power glide valve bodys they work great.
