Talk your combo over with him. It helps to know actual/projected rpm/powerband limits of your combo, overall goals, desired shift extension and dun dun dun.....desired shift point rpms, among a billion other details.

$800 - talk to Chris. It's looser than an SS, but more efficient and hits easier off the line.

Do you think it would be more tight than the PT though? If it is I may just go with that.

Do not want to step on any toes, but sounds like you are interested in a Circle D option... and we have our 1E and 2E that I think will make you very happy. With the 1E option flashing to about 3800-4000 and the 2E 4000-4200 range in your setup. And like Jake mentioned, they are $800. If you want to shoot me an Ask Chris with your full details I will help you spec one out.

Chris

Thanks guys. I will fill out the Ask Chris as soon as I get home. I'm torn between the 4000ss and to see what Circle D can put together.

I'm just doing some checks before I pull the trigger on the stall. I keep getting some crazy oil pressure. I'm sure pretty sure the sending unit bit the dust so I'm going to run a mechanical gauge next week and just double check. But as of right now I think I will run the cds 2e.

Dave @ Yank is an awesome guy to talk to, plus I love my SS4k. I wouldn't trade that converter for anything. High stalls and loud exhausts suck, car starts moving at about 2-2.5k and normal acceleration is 2.5-3k. The SS converter is a really nice piece. The thing just screams quality.
