I got a 95 4l80 and it came with the convertor out of a 6.5 chevy diesel. I ordered the ls style flex plate and adapter for the pre 97 trannys. My question is will the 6.5 convertor work with that flex plate. If not i need to get a stock convertor

 

That's a big heavy converter. I wouldn't use it. I had my converter built to use the stock style flywheel, it's almost half the weight of the stock 80 converter.
