Default Need Help Asap!!!!!

Just got done installing my tranmission EVERYTHING IS HOOKED UP, all the wires, and everything.

Now here the big problem....the transmission is fully built just got it back, now Put 11 quarts of tranny fluid, been cycling three the gears BUT NOTHING IN ENGAGING. The shifter cable is hooked up and the lil clip that clicks in aswell is hooked in. PARK - Rev nothing, REVERSE - NOTHING, all thegear you rev it up to around 3500 (vig3600 stall) nothing happens, everything is moving, nothing is smoking OR leaking, everything is in. Do you think this is something INSIDE the transmission that I had built in the valve body? or the shifter boot outside the tranny hat the clip and everything is in. what could possibly be wrong I need help ASAP cause I need my car back very very soon. thanks,

Danny

Are you sure you put the torque converter in correctly?? It should have fallen back three times as you were rotating it and pushing it back at the same time! This allows it to enguage into the front pump correctly! Just a possibility?

Is the oil level right? I think it could be the valve body also.

Just started the car and put into gear NO FLUID was comming out of the cooler, so the front pump is not engaged, or something is wrong in the valve body. Im having it towed to the dude who built the tranny tomarrow. I dont know what will happen, I dont think the converter is in inproperly because it is all the way in all the bellhousing bolkts went in PERFECTLY easier then they came out, there is no whining or and smoke or anything from the converter bein bad or not spinning.

thanks tho guys we will see what happens

99% sure that is not the case all the bolts when in fine threw the bel housing, nothing was leaking threw, we turned the flex plate and pushed the transmission at the same time in order for it to engage all the way while pushing it into the flex plate to then put the bell housing bolts in.

but thanks for the advice man i appcriate it, we will find out soon enuff ijust hope it get fixed and running soon.

Did you put the converter in the transmission first and then bolt up the tranny or did you leave the converter bolted to the flexplate and try to stab the tranny into the converter?? The converter has to be rotated and pushed back into the tranny and you should feel it push back three seperate times!! This way you are assured that it enguaged into the front pump. It would be hard to ever stab it correctly if the converter is left bolted to the flexplate? Just double checking, I was a little unsure if you knew what I meant.
