break it in before you hammer on it, re check your fluid level, you will never get the full benfit of the stall untill you get a TUNE, also with out a tune you may hurt the trans- as it not shifting rite you may cause it to begain slipping, once it starts it may be to late

I have the tcc set up pretty well turned off in 2nd and 3rd od locks up around 42 seems to drive nice and duty cycle set up to lock the disks firmer I think my question is wot they say you have to adjust shift points Is that because of slippage in the converter at the top end making the stock shift points and mph not match
(exp. 1,2 shift 6000 and 38 mph with 3.73 with converter could this be what you adjust with slippage 6000 maybe only 36mph this would cause a shifting problem)
so could you possibly fix the shift by lowering the mph to still shift at 6000 just trying to understand this new to tuning and guidance would be appreciated I have hp tuner so can make any adjustments at track just whant to no what Im trying to obtain.

You have to adjust shift point especially at WOT when installing a converter like you said because of the converter sliping

I broke mine in AND let it rip before getting a tune. I have 27,500 miles on this ss3600 with 120k on the trans.

You won't destroy the tranny without a proper tune, but you won't enjoy the converter as much either. You already have some of the basics done. You'll want to do WOT and part-throttle shift points, shift times, line pressure if you're not using a shift kit, and tune out some misfire codes to prevent limp mode. (Do a search on that in this forum).

Frost will be able to update your tune to be perfect for your converter.
