Default Question about trans brakes

When the trans brake is activated, how high should the RPM go if you go WOT? Thanks.

All the way to the stall speed of your torque converter (assuming you don't have a 2-step).

Ok that's what I thought. Mine is going to my rev limiter. I have a 4000 stall and it goes all the way to 7k. So what is wrong?

too much power (you added power mods after you spec'd the convertor) and it's 'blowing' thru OR faulty convertor.

Well that's what I would thinkI too, but I haven't added anything. The converter is brand new and was supposed to be for this setup.
