Default tranny oil lines removal

hey guys i have a 2001 gmc sierra,and i need to replaced my upper and lower tranny oil lines.i already bought them new at the dealer,but was wondering how do i remove my existing ones?the line looks like it snaps in place but how do i removed it?

On the cars there is a threaded fitting installed in the transmission case and a line that snaps into it. You can either unthread the whole thing or remove the clip and pull the line out and leave the threaded section in the side of the trans. The retaining clip can be a booger if you've never done one, but it's a lot like a manual window crank handle retaining clip. Googling that should give you an idea.

On an f body removing the clip requires a long mechanics pick and long handle needle nose pliers can help. It sucks.

Removing the fitting, at least on my car, required a metric crows foot line wrench...that also sucks.

But putting back is easy. Install clip in fitting and fitting in trans. The lines then push in easy as pie.
