Granatelli Motor Sports is proud to announce its new partnership with Hughes Transmissions. Hughes Transmissions is one of the largest and most respected manufacturers in high performance aftermarket automatic transmissions and torque converters. Hughes Transmissions is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ and has been THE choice of champion racers worldwide since 1971.
The item on the agenda will be to release a complete, high performance version of the GM 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission. The GM 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission is found in C6 / C7 Corvettes and the 5th Gen Camaros. According to Granatelli Motor Sports spokesman, J.R. Billet pump rotors
Welded 1-2-3-4 clutch hub and shaft assemblies Welded 3-5 Rev/2-6 clutch hub and shaft assemblies.
Please note that custom TCM programming is necessary in order to obtain maximum durability and longevity of the new friction materials installed in
each transmission.
