Exclamation Transmission A4 02 SS

My 2nd started slipping then it just stopped working, I've switched my solenoids wasn't the problem. I'm now sure I need a new trans or rebuild unless you have any input. My main question is what transmissions will fit? Trailblazer? Tahoe? Silverado? I'm curious because money is tight and I am currently in College. I've also searched forums for 2 months now and have not had my questions answered. Thank you in advance.

I dont think those will fit. The bell housings are different I believe.

And, those are 4x4 transmissions. Ive seen LS1 fbody 4L60e's for around $400.00. Just do a search through google.

As mentioned, you need to be sure it is a 2wd trans. Also be sure it came from a V8 vehicle as V6 trans have an incompatible input shaft.
Any '98 to '05 4L60E or 4L65E will fit exactly - the bell housings are all the same.
Some '06 will work too, but by '07 the valve body was significantly changed and your PCM won't support it.

You have to swap the extension housing from your F-car trans to the replacement trans (for F-car torque arm bracket mounting points).
