Default 4L80 and 1 7/8" headers

Just found out the kooks 1 7/8" headers I bought are keeping the trans from bolting up. Any of you 80 guys running 1 7/8" headers without issue? If so what brand are you running. Mods, feel free to move. Figured I would get more hits here.

Can someone post the pic I got? It's the "ear" on the passenger side of the tranny case.

You will need to cut the ears off for clearance. I have 1 7/8" TSP LTs on my 98 SS with a 4L85E tranny, they fit fine. If you look at some of the 4L80E swap threads, they tell you to cut the ears off.
