How to figure/determine shiftpoints for best results?

How to figure/determine shiftpoints for best results? My tranny is currently shifting at 6500. My hp peaks around 6300 and carries it all the way to 6600 where it then drops off because the limiter was set at 6600 at the time. Its not set at 6700. I raised it to give a little room for overshift so that I dont hit the limiter and lose time. My torque peaks around 4800 and starts to drop slowly around 5100. I havent had the car dynoed since April of '03 when it was a 6 speed. How can I figure/determine where my shiftpoints should be set at for best results at the track? Thanks.
5-10% past peak HP is a good rule of thumb.
Keep shifting higher until the car slows down. Try shifting lower after that and see if you can shift at a lower rpm and keep the revs down.

Again the question was CLEARLY anwsered by Colonel in one of your many other threads asking this same question.
Here is some advice, why dont you just take your car to a shop in Texas (Take your pick) and tell them to make it the best they can and give them $3000 just so you dont have to keep typing the same questions when you already have the anwsers.

Put a 4400 stall and some 3.73's (or 4.10's) and see where that gets you.
I bet your car falls on its face when you shift into 3rd with the 3.42's
