4l80e question I recently rebuilt my 80e and had to change the case (snap ring lugs broke off). It is a 2000 model 4wd and just so happens I had a 2wd core tranny so I just used the 2wd case. I am having trouble finding the plug at the rear of the trans that plugs off the fluid from going to the now non existent tailhousing. 2wd have the plastic plug with the tiny hole in it, but the kit did not come with the 4wd plug to stop the flow completely. Anyone have a part number for this? I couldn't figure out a way to get the old one out of the 4wd without tearing it up and thought about just getting a freeze plug the same size but wanted to check with the pros first. Thanks
