Not your Average 4l60E build.
I plan on probably using this kit,
http://www.monstertransmission.com/4...l#.Utc8UfRDurs
It should be way overkill for my mostly stock V6 but allows a little room for if and when I decide to run the turbo build on the motor. And I figured I would go ahead and throw a new converter on it as well,
http://www.monstertransmission.com/4...l#.Utc8kvRDurs
And yes I know, again, this is probably overkill but that's not really the questions.
Questions are, these kits are intended for a much higher HP output then I will be running, in particular the LS1 type engines. Am I going to see any major compatibility issues with these, and while I am doing the transmisson, should I go ahead and try to find a used Aluminum drive shaft from a Z28/Formula ?
Internally all the parts should work or be the same for the v6-v8? And I know the stall is overkill but it should wake it up a little bit more then stock, especially if I end up swaping the rear gears to a 3.42 or 3.23 vs the 3.08 stock. I.E. will the stall fit my transmission as the bell housing is different?
Thanks in advance, guys.. Sorry I've been disappeared lately, I started getting really big into my new jeep so I have been on Jeep Garage

Cheers!

And ask them to add a set of new solenoids; I even think you will come out ahead pricewise.
Remember that your V6 4L60E is an "LT1" style with 298mm input shaft which will NOT bolt up directly to an LS engine. The converter you listed is an LS style converter which will not fit your trans.
Regardless, any $300 converter is crap. Instead consider a good $500 converter from sponsor Circle-D or Revmax. (Others sponsors Yank and FTI are more in the $750 range for even better converters which Circle-D and Revmax also sell for that price.)
Read this detailed thread:

The difference between a 298mm (LT1) and 300mm (LS) style 4L60E will not matter to the rebuild kit, only the year of the trans is important.

Also what do I need to look for as far as Torq Converters? Do I need to search for a LT1 style torq converter to compensate for the input shaft? This is my first time to do a rebuild of this type on my own, and with a "newer" style transmission. It's not like the old TH350's of the past where all the parts were interchangeable basically haha.
Thanks for your input, these are the things I need to know before I dump a ton of money for something that is going to break and or not work ..
*edit* or this one ? http://www.trutechtrans.com/4L60E-Co...UP-Basket.html

A Corvette servo is at most a $15 part. With TruTechTrans simply call the owner (Jeff, who knows me) and explain what you want and he will put a custom kit together for you; there is no reason to order one of his "stock" kits as he is easy to reach and very knowledgeable.
