Lol I'm just been told the ss is a better dd then the pro. Also told that the ss is better for people with less horse power (400-500hp) due to the ss having a 9.5 plate and the pro having a 10.5. Just wanted more info from other people because my buddy has a pro for a great price

Oh ok, yeah a Pro would probably be way overkill for DD street use imo, but everybody is different on what they can tolerate

I just talked to Dave and he said the dumPro Yank series is designed to work with cars making at least 750 RWHP and up if you car is making less you need a SS series. You could use the Pro Yank it would just make the car run slower in the 1/4 mile. You would not have the power to make it flash high enough

I can tell you from experience..
I have owned both...
I will never go back to using an SS series converter again...

PY is so much better....
better feeling at part throttle, harder hitting at WOT...
even my PY 4800 is fine on the street at part throttle...
my SS series felt like it only worked at WOT...
PY series even feels like it responds faster to throttle changes
