What car? The 99 TA in your sig?

If so its either the t56 manual or 4l60e auto

It should be the 4L60E since your auto, once you seperate it from the block look on the top side of the transmission and it will be stamped and it may have a sticker on the top middle portion by the air vent tube. U'll be able to see the big stamp on the upper side of the transmission detailing what it is.

While searching summit tonight I was looking for replacement transmission oil pan gasket, which they didn't have but have this kit
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mr...w/make/pontiac
Does the 700R4 have the same pan as the 4L60E? cause according to summit, selecting the 4L60E shows the above kit..

im replacing because tonight while checking other parts out to see what to order, I noticed that the trans pan has trans oil on a few bolts, so there is a leak somewhere and while I have it out, was going to replace with a new pan to be able to change/check the fluids easily in the future.
