Default going proratchet to Quarter Stick

I have a B&M pro ratchet shifter for my th400..If I decide to go to a b&m or hurst Quarter Stick, Does the shifter Cable need to be changed?

Check the part numbers through summit. They will tell you which number fits they pro stick and ratchet, that would be a reason to use the pro stick, you know the mounting would be identical. I had one, I love the gate shifting over the ratchet. Got a tci outlaw on the way. Of course had to order a damn 4 speed gate too.

And I make plates to put them both in a factory console.. Just saying. .

I would think that if you stayed with the same brand (B&M), the cable would not change. Make a call to Summits tech line and ask them. I have made a few shifter plates for different shifters and although I haven't installed the cables, I've not noticed differences in cables.

Anyone have wiring & relay info for a 2000 trans am and a B&m shifter ?
Have two relays 1 4 prong and 1 5 prong
