So my LS1 went, and I'm building a cam only 370 to take her place. My 4l60 is bone stock, besides the trans cooler and stall. Hasn't ever been rebuilt. Will it last at all with daily driving and probably some careful messing around? Or am I looking at having to upgrade it too?


If it has to be touched, what's the cheapest way of going about this?

 

I should probably add that its at 130k miles, so it probably needs a rebuild soon anyways. Looking at a 80e swap.

Would a stock 80e be sufficient? Rebuild? Shift kit?

 

If it were me id run it until it goes then replace it with an rmp/flt built 60e
