I bought a 4l80e transmission for my ls swap and was told it was a 2006. After doing research I found out it was a 2000. I have started modifying my 05 wiring harness and the range switch(neutral switch) plugs are different. all the other plugs match up fine. In 2001 they change the plug from a 2 plug setup to a single plug setup. Can I just get a 01+ 4l80e neutral switch and install it to the transmission and use the 05 harness plug?
