Default 4L80E tc question

I'm replacing my th400 with a 4l80e in my 96 mustang. Will be going to 4:10 gears, my question is what would be a good stall speed tc for it ? The car weighs around 3100lbs and a lq4 stroker. I do go to the track sometimes and not really a dd. I have no experience with a/t so please help, thanks

I'd recommend contacting Yank and CircleD. They're both very helpful !

Assuming the car is N/A, I would suggest a 245mm converter in something like a 3600-4000 stall. This will be a good mix of performance and drivability. You can fill out the Ask Chris form in my signature with all the motor specs and intended usage info, and we can get the best converter for your swapped Stang.
