Default shifting into 2nd too early and DTC code

hooked up the PGM tester to the car yesterday, and it found this code:

P0121
Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem

could that cause the problem of the car shifting into 2nd and 3rd too early, and also causing the RPM's to stay the same, and not wanting to shift right away???

i'm thinking that tuning will get rid of this issue... what do ya'll think ???

I just went through the same EXACT problem. Throwing the same code.
From a dead stop, WOT the trans would shift 1-2-3-4 just fine. But WOT while the car is in second gear the car "felt" like it wanted to go but it just bogged down for about 5 seconds then finally (sometimes it didnt) shifting. Sometimes it would happen in 3rd gear also.
And the damn car would shift WAY to early when going into second from WOT or regular throttle

Took it to Speed and they tuned it out.

Question: What gears or TC are you running???

the reason I asked is because sometimes 3.73's dont like bigger TC's - just thought I could point ya in the right direction

Take the car to your tuner, then him what is happening and they should know what to do.
