Default Killed the trans or torque converter?

So about 2 weeks ago i was cruising back in about 90 degree weather, upon passing people it felt as if 4th gear was slipping/tcc letting go then hitting the stall at 3600. The stall is a monster 10" 2800... i dont think it should flash at 3600 on the dyno... my car only put down 360hp in a 2600lb rx7 to the ground. It has a fully built 4l60e. Still shifts hard into 3rd and tight into 4th. Doesnt slipping from 40 roll from and doesnt bounce off the limiter. Did i blow something up in the trans/burn it, or did i kill a cheap converter(given to me). It all went away after i let it cool down but came back tonight.

Have you had it tuned for the stall? Mine is doing the same but I think its the trans going into limp mode due to a random misfire code. It can be caused by many things like a smaller than stock converter.
