4L80e input shaft stripped

4L80e input shaft stripped Hi guys new to the forum
Recently purchased a 4l80e and just stripped it down too put one of Jakes Performances stage 2 kits through it,
Have got the input shaft as pictured here...

Was just wondering what would be the main cause of this?,
I will now be putting a billet replacement piece in but wanted too know if there was anything else that I should know as it will be going onto a Twin Turbo LS1 with 700hp at some stage in its life
