4l60e Tail Housing
4l60e Tail Housing Are all 4l60e tail housings the same? Currently i have a 4l60e out of my 2002 camaro that I'm going to use in a swap in a 71 chevelle. However, the mount on the tail housing for the 4th gen torque arm is hitting on the tunnel. I was looking at different tail housings, and wasn't sure if they are all the same?
Is there differences in the tail housings (other than the torque arm mount) that i should be looking for?

The older ones are 4 bolt, and newer ones are 6. Get a matching one that doesn't have the torque arm. They are all over eBay. Torque arm tails are in demand too so you can sell yours pretty quick I'm sure.
