Im looking at buying this 4l60e for my 86 iroc does this look like its from a 99 camaro the tail housing looks different from the ones ive seen these are the photos I got

 

Since it appears to have a bolt hole in the bellhousing at the 12 O'Clock position, it is an LS style 4L60E with a 300mm input shaft. It will only bolt up to an LS engine. It will not bolt up to an SBC or LT engine. You signature implies you might have a 5.3 LS engine in your '86, in which case it is the correct trans.
There are various tail housings available, primarily one for and without a torque tube.
The tail housing is trivially easy to swap and available from e.g. powertrainpartsplus on ebay.

Thats exactly what I need it for I just need the tailhousing for the torque arm, found one on ebay for around $50

 

The guy only wants $200 says it has 90k miles on it
