How to check 4l60e pump???
Yesterday I was finally installing my engine and transmission on 2 my car and when I went to put the bolts on the torque converter it was all the way against the flywheel my friend that was helping me didn't push the torque converter all the way in do u guys thing I can have damage the transmission pump I never started the car up or anything???? Is there any way to check???

If you didn't start the engine there is a good chance (50/50) you didn't damage the pump; at least you didn't spray the entire trans and converter with metal chips.
Obviously make sure the converter is properly installed and bolted up and give it a try.
Remember to add more ATF.
The quicky/approximate way to test the pump is to check the trans fluid level before and after the engine starts. When working the pump will pull the level down about one inch. On some cars (especially Gen-4) it can be hard to read the fluid level due to the major bend in the dip stick tube scraping off fluid.
Obviously make sure the converter is properly installed and bolted up and give it a try.
