98 fbody 4l60e dipstick question
98 fbody 4l60e dipstick question Hey fellas can anyone tell me if I can use a dipstick out of a 99-05 Chevy truck with 4l60e for my 98 camaro tranny? I have the fbody dipstick tube just need the actual dipstick. Please help me figure out which dipstick I can use.thanks fellas in advance
GM 12560267 level indicator seems to be specific to 98-02 Camaro/Firebird with 3.1/6cyl-3.8/6cyl-5.7/8cyl.
Have someone measure theirs and where the level indications are on the stick and compare those dimensions to the stick you want to use..
If it wasn't below freezing here,I'd go to garage and measure the tube/stick I have in the garage.

No,a GM replacement part site states they're common.
