Default 4l80e Electronic Controller Advice

Hey guys i'm about to pull the trigger on a Jake's stage 4 4l80e for my 2006 GTO. I'm pondering getting a electronic controller down the line for it. What are your guys opinions on this? And if you have one how do you like it and what brand?

To add on to your post, why would a stand alone controller be better over just a stock pcm?

Yup I wondered that too.
Are you looking for manual shifting control?
If yes, why?

I would use a OEM PCM if possible. The US Shift we sell and recommend is a bit more intuitive to use and tune but I prefer an all in one control.

My only experience is with the Compushift controller, so I cant speak for the others out there
Although its prob one of the most exp. controllers, it comes with all the harness's and has great features, and a display that's top notch
They all do their job though

Will this option work with a t56 harness or would i need a a4 harness?
I will be looking at a 4l80 from you soon

You can pin in an add on harness. It's relatively simple.
