6L80E for C6 Z06
6L80E for C6 Z06 can I bolt in a 6L80E transmission into a C6 Z06? can it be done nicely and neatly with out modifying the transmission housing? will I need custom PCM for the 6L80E and wiring harness? what parts are needed?

This is probably not the best forum for your question as C6 are rarely covered here.
It appears that the C6 started with a 4L60E and later years have the 6L80E.
Due to the much larger size of the 6L80E and the tight fit in any Vette, many changes would likely have to me made. The main ECM likely needs to be changed and the properly trans wiring harness installed.
I'm just guessing. Perhaps someone else knows more details, but likely the various Vette forums will have an answer.
I will also guess that it would likely be cheaper to sell your car and buy a newer one with with the 6L80E. Also, have you driven a C6 with a 6L80E just to be sure it is worth it?
