Switch wiring Let me attempt to coherently explain my dilemma... I am dropping a GMP Connect & Cruise drive train into my 67. The tranny switch on the left side of the 4L65E ( AC Delco D2257C neutral safety, reverse lites, gear position) doesn't have a harness connector. This is supposedly the correct GM#, 9223-6722-30 , but the local dealer has been less then helpful.
Any GURU's have some insight on how to get this to work?

Consider the switch optional. It does not, let me repeat that, it does not indicate the gear position. It handles neutral safety and reverse lights. On some cars the starter wiring goes through it for safety.
I don't run one on my swap; my B&W shifter has the switches for Park/Neutral safety and Reverse lights.
