Default 4L65E or 4L70E Questions

OK guys, I need a little help . I'm Doing a 525hp LS3 crate swap in a 63 nova wagon. I need a trans. Who do you suggest for a good unit for that motor power level. It is staying DBW. I can not fit a 4L80 without tunnel mods and there is a new floor in the wagon already.so I'm limited to the 4L65 or 4L70.
Also I plan on using the GMPP ecu for that motor, should I just buy the GMPP trans ecu as well or is there a better aftermarket for this combo. does it matter which one I go with are they all compatible and plug and play, or are they a stand alone ecu.

Sorry I guess not many people have experience with what you’re trying to do. I know I don't.

At that power level I would buy a Level-3 4L70E/4L75E from a sponsor, e.g. FLT.
You will need the GMPP trans TCM, which needs a trans with ISS (Input Speed Sensor).

I suggest Beaumann Electronics for any of your harness needs. If you need a trans to suit 525hp in any application, FLT is your best option. The Level 5 would be a good fit. If you got the extra coin, add the sonnax smart tech housing.
