forgive me, im a m6 guy so ive never had to dabble in a4 programming. Im just trying to do a fellow GM guy a favor and fixing these problems for him. I assume I need to scale transmission tables and change WOT shift speed since the car is now going slower at a higher RPM.
I have HP tuner and would really appreciate any info you can provide. I've spent way too much time just trying different things and going for a ride after making changes without much luck.

The best advise I can give you is to look up Godspeed on this board and ask him. He is one of the best when it comes to these cars.

 

what i was thinking myself was doing this. stock gear is 2.73 new gear is 3.15 scale trans tables by the difference which will be .8666. That should fix the shifting problems. dunno bout the P1870 though
