I just ordered an M6 top console along with the Hawks third gen adapter and "SS" shift ball. I like the look of the M6 console better with the boot and everything. I have heard that I will not be able to get down to gears 1 and 2 which is fine since I either leave it in drive or overdrive all the time. Is there anything else that I need to know for this install? I will post pics when done.

 

nah should be straight forward.
Most trim down the "shifter" so it looks better lower.

 

Yea I am most likely going to trim down the shifter. I am going to put it on as is and see how tall it is and then go from there.
