B&M Prostick cable adjustment
Trying to wrap up my 4l60E swap. Tranny is a built 4l60 out of a 2002 Camaro. I have the proper bracket installed on the shifter linkage and the pan. When I set it so cable swivel end slips into the bracket nicely while in park, it's off a good 1/8" while in 1st. If I put it in drive and set it, when in first gear or park I can't get the swivel in to slide in and out. Is there something I'm missing here? By the way, the spacers are installed underneath the pan bracket. Thanks!!

What do you consider the proper bracket?
I use the B&M bracket with my B&M Megashifter and had to put it in a slightly different hole than specified, specifically in a hole slightly closer to the center of the shaft.
Update: Here is the B&M part #20462 bracket that I use:
The instructions showed using the top-left hole, but I found that the top-right matched better all the way from [Park] to [D1].

They always seem to be off, since its all prob off shore anymore doesn't surprise me
Having said that, where the cable mounts to the shifter housing, you have to watch the install, do it just like the instrus.-the cable can go either inside or outside the housing, and if wrong, it will never adjust correctly
