Default change trans pan question

getting ready to change out my trans pan, think the shop that changed my fluid over torqued the bolts, been steadily leaking ever since they did that. Was getting a new low profile pan from PML, its cast aluminum, also has a side drain hole. My question is how hard is this to replace, specifically the shift cable mounting bracket? Thanks
Here is a pic of the pan Im getting

Not hard at all just un bolt it and replace. First, I would pull the cars front wheels up on some ramps to get the rear of the trans lower than the front. Next, remove the bolts on the back of the pan completely then slowly start removing the side bolts to allow the fluid to drain from the back into a big oil drain pan. Once all had drained that will hold the pan and remove the front bolts and lower it down and out of the way. You might as well change the filter while you have the pan off.

Not a hard job at all but can be messy if your not careful. Shift cable just unbolts from the pan and pops off. JRENIGAR explained how I normally do it.

ok great, thank you for the replies, only reason I asked was I heard stories about some people having trouble getting the pan off because of the way the shift bracket was bolted to the pan. Also would you guys recommend rubber or cork gaskets? Thanks

The shift bracket unbolts with two of the pan bolts so its not an issue. I usually use a rubber gasket no problem.
