Default Need help identifying this trans

Hey everybody, i'd greatly appreciate if somebody can just verify this looks like an F-Body 4L60E. Supposed to be out of a '94.

I'm driving 8 hours total to pick it up and don't wanna make a mistake, anything else you can point out, let me know!

Appreciate it!

Yes, looks like a '94 or early '95 - it is LT-style with a 298 mm input shaft; not PWM.
Note that a '94 is an odd-ball and will only work with a '94 PCM.

What vehicle are you putting it in? If not a '94 F-body avoid it.

First make sure the aftermarket controller supports the odd-ball '94.
Has the trans been rebuilt? With performance parts?
If not, due to its age and weak construction it may only last a week behind a bolt-on LS1.
You will also need a crank spacer, pilot extender and mods to the flexplate as it will not directly bolt on.
Craigslist is full of LS-style 4L60E for $500 or less; you are much better off getting a fully compatible LS-style from '98 or later.

Where are you located? PM me any Craigslist item links and I will give you my opinion on them and confirm compatibility.
