Transmission build Q Got a 99 Trans am with the 4l60e and broke my sun shell the other day. Just wanted to ask for any recommended upgrades to parts while I'm in there. I was kinda looking at the TCI super pro kit but not sure of that's a decent kit or not and if there is anything else I should swap out. Any thoughts and experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would install a TransGo HD2 it along with a Sonnax HD 2-3 Shift Valve, Sonnax .490 O-Ring Boost Valve and a Sonnax Smart Shell sun shell. Also be sure to use a 29 element forward sprag from Borg Warner along with Borg Warner clutches. You can also check out Trutech Performance Transmission’s rebuild kits.
