Default Craigslist 80e w/ Transo shift kit clunks into reverse, normal?

I have an audible "clunk" when I shift into reverse with my unknown mileage 80e that I put a Transgo HD2 into. The trans shifts really good otherwise, no strange behavior. I never drove the 80e when it was stock and it has unknown mileage. Is this normal or can reverse shift pressures be lowered in hpt? I had new u-joints put in when the driveshaft was shortened and the truck did not clunk into reverse when it had the 60e. I did also install a Circle D 3200 stall when I did the 80e.

Cant say for sure about your setup but my totally rebuilt (by me) 80e in my T/A has a clunk when going into reverse. It shifts great otherwise. I didnt install a "shift kit" though. I did the dual feed mod and drilled out the seperator plate per NTV's recomendations along with several other mods to improve it over stock while I had it apart. I am sure the tune can be altered to help stop this but IDK how you would do it.
