Yes but will it still spin? And would that possibly cause loss of all gears. Im getting closer to being ready to take trans out and give some more info.

Yes the converter will still spin and depending on how bad it is broken the trans may not move. Most likely if the converter did break it filled the trans with debris.

Okay guess there isnt much more i can ask without pulling trans. I started today. Got exhaust loose, 02 sensors unplugged, battery disconnected. Then went to drop crossmember and forgot to support trans and do a couple things i forgot i read i need to do first. But getting there slowly but shortly. I will post updates and questions. i work monday-thur 10-12 hr days and weekends i see my gf/son so i just try and work it in. Also i will note when i dropped pan i didnt see any metal flakes but nothings for sure. Also retested after jacking up front and atf level was lower and didnt change cold or running. But i figure i haveto drop trans and if pump is broken i will be able to see. Is there a way if the pumps broken i couldnt see?
