Default Electrical issues, where to start?

Long story short, paid to have my PCM repinned and the guy did a decent job at best. Went from a 98 to a 99-02. I've fixed a few wires already non trans related.

Built 60e

Transmission will not shift electronically at all. Has all gears but first. Converter will lock in 3 and OD. When first is manually applied, it's like car goes up on trans brake. I've swapped both shift solenoids. Can manually command the 2-3 onis with HPT, not the 1-2 though.

Transmission was perfect before the pcm swap which leads me to believe it has to be in the wiring. Anyone got any good ideas of where to start? I can drive the car fine but not having first is gettin old.

You'll just have to check the wiring pin and color codes yourself.

I would definitely check the wiring for the 3-2 downshift solenoid.

You'll figure it out - you aren't a fool at all.

That's the same Pin out he supposedly uses. When he extended the wires, he extended them with all red wire. All I can see is a sea of red. I spoke with someone at Performabuilt earlier and they were confident that setting codes 0751, 0756, and 0757 to report no error would fix the problems. We will see.

Bummer about all the red wires.
I have never disabled those codes on either a '98 or 411 PCM, even with 3 different 3600 stalls.
But maybe it will work for you. Right now I think one of the shift solenoid wires is mixed up with the 3-2 downshift solenoid wire.
