Default strange trans/converter lock-up issue

Just started have an issue recently.

When cruising in OD, locked up, around 50-60 mph seems like the converter is randomly unlocking and RPMS go up. Almost seems like its freewheeling at that point.

If i downshift to 3rd, then back up to OD, it locks up fine and seems ok but then eventually a few minutes later the same thing happens.

Logged all the TSTATE pids with efilive, nothing abnormal. Its saying the TCC is still locked when all this is happening.

This is a Circle D 5c converter. Stock transmission.

Any ideas?

Funny thing is, I been having the same issue with my SS3600... according to the tuner, he claims it's the brake switch or the solenoid in trans for lock up... Haven't really looked into either one... tuner SWEARS it's not in his tune! So idk...

The only reason i doubt its the tune is its been fine for probably close to two years. I did make sure i didn't have the TCC apply and release tables conflicting with eachother though.

I am having this same issue.
Car was fine for first 2 years.
Then randomly unlocking. Sometimes it wouldn't unlock all week.
Then the next week it would unlock 2 days a week going to work.

I replaced the torque converter with the same exact one, just
had it rebuilt by MFG. Same thing, it just unlocks.

Sometimes when it is in OD and locked up and I hit a significant
bump/pothole it will unlock and not lock back up.

Sometimes when it has locked up and unlocked then won't lock back up,
I will drive around in D. Maybe 2 miles. Then back to OD. Still no lockup.
I will be driving at a constant 55+ for a few minutes, then it will just lockup....OR...sometimes it won't.

I'm thinking something in the transmission is worn out but have not clue
on how to test. I have not tuning software.

Thanks.

Just thinking out loud, but coolant temp plays a role in lockup. A minimum temp must be reached before lock up is allowed. On my digital gauge, about 113 was the magic number. Isnt there also a lockup solenoid in the trans? Id try replacing it.

My tuner tells me that it's my lock up solenoid... I'm thinking of trying it... cheap enough
