80e high hp 2nd gear problems

80e high hp 2nd gear problems Any one having troubles with 2nd gear in these 80e builds?
We are having trouble with a 5200lb truck at 1000hp right now. A friend of mine has one at 1100lbs in a 5400lb truck that has the same troubles.
We have both broke our share of hard parts to start, so we have upgraded drums, billet input..... Now we just nuke the 2nd gear clutches all the time. Both trucks are 4wd and can leave hard on the street. One runs 10.2@137.
