Default 4l80E question?

Not sure if this is the right section, but hopefully I can get a good answer. I have the trans out of my van and a second one that I purchased complete rebuild kits from and upon assembling the first one (for my van) i started to stack the Kolene steels and Raybestos red frictions and found I had only been given 5 frictions and 6 Kolene steels for the forward and direct. I looked at the second kit and the same. The company sent out a new set of six Red Alto frictions and when stacked they are half way through the groove for the snap ring which will not allow the snap ring the be installed never mind any clearance for the clutches. My question is does any one know the thickness that the Kolene discs should be? The ones that were sent in both kits measure .077". From the searching I have done I see .063 which tells me I have the wrong steels. Also .077"x5 is .385" when stacked and the .063"x6 is .378" when stacked.

Your Frictions are how Thick? I didn't know Alto made full thickness .080" Direct/Forward Red frictions, They are generally sold in "Power Packs" with Thinner Frictions & Steels.
