anyone using a vigilante?

Just a quick one. I have just acquired a 9.5 triple disc and in the box is some instructions to modify the pump so it gets 180 psi. Is this really necessary I already have a hd2 kit installed and it has a jakes manual box. Thanks

No it is not necessary. The HD2 kit includes a boost valve that raises pressures.

The spring change in the pump is the converter limit spring. This change definitely increases the lockup pressure.

And it has some other effects, but the guys at North Texas Converter aren't aware of that...
