Exclamation I need help asap

Well guys i changed my u joints on my 2002 camaro and hit the damn weight on the part that goes into the auto trans ( i think that's a weight) and cant seem to keep it straight any more. let me show you a pic of what part i'm talking about.




the part you see in the front of pic is what i'm talking about, is it a weight or a dust seal? or what? do i need it on or not? what do i do? i cant keep it straight! :b ang:

It is similar to a harmonic balancer, If you broke it loose, Remove it. If you get no "Vibes" or "Harmonics".....You win. If you do get a vibration, You will need a new Slip Yoke & the drive shaft balanced.
