ok, sorry for the delay, Thanks clinbarger for the info, Cool28 the harness in painless's gen 3/4 truck hareness. We did the repin they told us to at the trans but have not done one at the ecm yet. However, after dropping the pan (should have done that first) we discovered a muddy substance in the filter, possibly starving the pump of fluid. and the pan was coated with a black slim. So, the plan as of right now is to get a fresh filter and see if we are even getting fluid to the pump. Will update with info. Thanks once agin for the replies so far.

So, The filter was plugged with a unknown substance, and the pan was coated inside with a black substance. after a new filter and fresh fluid we have line pressure. over 100 psi. in forward gears, and 300psi in reveres. Still zero movement in any gear. Without the trans plugged in we have nothing, with it plugged in we can here solenoids clicking when we select a gear with the scan tool, but it still only shows 2nd gear at all times, regardless of what gear we select with the scan tool or what gear we manually put the trans in. At this point we about ready to pull the trans and have it checked out. The harness is a painless harness for a gen 111/4l60 combo. We repinned it at the trans like painless instructed. But even if we had the wrong segment, or a pin was off, we should still have 2nd, and reverse, correct? We also still have ZERO drive at all, even though we are "in" 2nd. No codes shown, and no strange sounds, coming from the trans, in any gear.
